  One of the nice Indian restaurants we tried in the Uppsala area. The food was delicious and at reasonable price options. We did try the three curry lunch menu as it was a weekday afternoon lunch time and also we ordered something from the alacarte menu. The three curry, naan, rice, salad and drink are included for SEK 120 for two curry and SEK 130 for three curry options you can choose. I’m sure the non vegetarian options would also be nice. There are two nice clean washrooms and very specious restaurants with many indoor and outdoor seating arrangements. Worth a visit. 👍🏻

  As an Indian I went there to try some Indian foods, good atmosphere and calm place. Was excited to try something quick so I ordered chicken thali for 299 Kronor which looked appealing but taste was not up to my expectations. Found Chilli garden to be the most authentic with taste so far in uppsala.

  We visited this restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, the service was far from professional and the food was just ok. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously. Service Issues:- Lack of Greeting: We were not welcomed upon arrival; we was assigned a place without even asking us even though there were several empty spaces there. Disrespectful Behavior: To get our attention for the order, the waiter actually whistled at us. This is incredibly rude and unprofessional. We chose to ignore it at the time, but it is not how you treat guests. Poor Table Manners: Water was slammed onto the table with unnecessary noise. Furthermore, it wasn't served in a proper jug but appeared to be brought out in open glasses from the back. Distracted Staff: The staff spent their time at the counter on their phones, eating, and loudly clattering cutlery, which ruined the ambiance. The Food: The food was acceptable, but certainly doesn't feel Indian and feels expensive for small portions. It should be called a bengali/Pakistani blend and felt like a generic "base mix" used for the dishes rather than being authentic Indian cuisine. but the restaurant name is Indian Kitchen! How? Message to the Owner: Swedish locals and tourists visit Asian restaurants to experience authentic flavors and hospitality. Do not let unprofessional staff ruin that experience. Just because it was late and the restaurant wasn't crowded does not give the waiters the right to act however they pleas

  Big portions and well filled wine glass, super! Got a glass off water without asking, which was nice. My vegetarian dish was super tasty and spicy, even the rice was tasty. I loved it! Very nice staff and pleasant price. Hope to be back!

  A wonderful place for lunch. I visit this restaurant frequently and have never been disappointed. The food is consistently excellent and stands out among other Indian restaurants in Uppsala. Highly recommended.
