Being used to very good Indian food in South Africa, I was pleasantly surprised (and very happy) to find one of the best Indian restaurants I've been in right in my "home" town Mariestad. The dishes are perfectly spiced, generous and well prices. Service was very good, friendly and attentive. This just became one of my favourite regulars.

I expected good food from the ratings... And i was not let down. The gentlemen that spoke to us had some recommendations and I have to say he really hit the nail on the head. The lamb appetizer that he steered us towards was absolutely delicious. Overrall I recommend this spot to anyone that enjoys Indian food.

This place is catering to the Swedish public, that have no idea what Indian food is. I asked for a jalfrezi, that is supposed to be spicy but was mild on the menu. I asked if it could be hotter, they said yes, but before I had taken off my coat, it was on the table, sprinkle with some red pepper powder! I will not return 🤔😔

The atmosphere and service is excellent and the food is divine. I was on a trip to Karlstad and got hungry on the way but this time I said there will be no McD. Amazing food here: spicy, flavourful, filling dishes. I tried the madras curry with garlicy, crispy naan bread(that made in a authentic oven btw). It was fantastic! Don't miss the mango lassi.

Delicious Indian cuisine, owner from Uganda. If you would like to have spicier foods could make a request, as the foods are not very spicy to adapt for Swedish tastebuds.
