Great choice of food, also vegetarian, but the desserts are very few. The food is not oily, but the masalas are too mild. I don't mean only red chili, but also all the other spices, I could hardly perceive them in the flavour, maybe it's because locals don't like spicy food... one exception, the dahi bhalla starter was wonderful: soft white lentil balls with yogurt, green and red chutney, raisins, it was really delicious.

Food was excellent at Urban Turban. Tea was good and tasted like home made Indian tea. We tried dal makhni and asked for spicy and it came is typically Indian spicy. The staff was very welcome as we arrived just around closing time (around 10:30) and still offered food and served the same well.

What a place this is. The food is epic. Best I've had in years. It's plenty it's delicious and affordable. Nice staff too. Hope to come back someday

Urban Turban really delivered — the food was fantastic and the service was genuinely welcoming. Right from the start, the Pani Puri and Aloo Tikkis were an instant hit with everyone at our table — fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. Every dish had great depth of flavor, and the naan was especially memorable — soft, hot, and perfectly done. One dish looked a little overly red and left some color on my fingers, which made me wonder if it had food coloring. It didn’t affect the taste, but visually it stood out. Overall, though, a great experience and definitely a spot I’d come back to for reliably good Indian food in Malmö.

Excellent menu, with less obvious choices available. The lamb was really cooked to perfection.
